Running a 1920 X 1200 monitor from a MacBook Pro with 10.7.2 - so far no issues. As others have noted, go to the DisplayLink Website to get Lion drivers. Don't even fool with going to the HIS website, they are only licensees of DisplayLinks IP.
Good for apps w/ low refresh rates (Excel, Word, websites)
Bad for full screen video (Netflix).
If it keeps working as it does now, I'll be happy with my purchase.

HIS Multi-View II Display Adapter
Introduction
Typically, if you want to run multiple monitors on your desktop PC, you need to invest in a video card with at least two monitor outputs; or, if you want to run more than two, you need to buy a high end video card and run SLI or Crossfire. If you have a laptop, you are pretty limited to your main display and one optional out-put, in most cases. The HIS Muiltiview II is a low cost solution to this issue.
Packaging/Contents:
In typical HIS style, the Multiview II is very neatly packaged and well branded.

I was searching for a device that I could hook up a third monitor to my macbook pro and I found this but everywhere I searched online, there weren't any actual reviews. I was having a hard time finding a usb to dvi convertor that had non-beta drivers for mac, this was one of the few.
I received this from Amazon within days of ordering and it is tiny! Its about the size of a deck of cards. You install the drivers on the mac, reboot, then waallla, instant screen! I didn't use on DVI, but with the rgb cable it looked pretty good. There picture wasn't as crisp as I expected, but then again its most likely because of the RGB cable.
If your on a mac and searching for an usb external monitor solution, this is it! It works, simple to setup and is very compact to bring along with you.
I have the intel core i7 2.88ghz macbook pro running OSX 10.6.6.
